Air Quality Executive The Air Quality Executive, led by Keith Strachan, and the Air Quality and Environment, chaired by Tony Tatham, have proceeded as planned. Discussion in the former has led to the development of an Air Quality Index which, published on a regular basis, will illustrate the quality of the air in several different sites throughout the city. A mobile measuring station will be employed to gather the data. It is expected to reveal that blame attached to Business for bad air is not supported by factual evidence which does show, however, that it is motor vehicles that supply the bulk of the pollution in the air.
